Welcome From Admissions
Thank you for visiting Montclare’s website! As we enter our twentieth year of operation, we are deeply proud to invite you to learn more about Montclare’s exceptional preschool program and our warm and welcoming community of educators and families. Personally, I am excited to share my passion for this school as both of my now teenage sons attended Montclare for their formative preschool years.
Montclare’s experienced teachers and administrators create a warm and engaging learning environment, instilling in our students a joy for learning and a love of school. Montclare’s thoughtfully balanced approach to early childhood education includes opportunities for independent exploration and discovery, as well as nurturing teacher scaffolding. With a deep understanding of early childhood development, our educators foster creativity, confidence, resilience, and kindness in and out of the classroom.
Montclare’s teachers and educational team get to know each child and family individually to provide the best possible preschool experience, and when the time comes to seek an ongoing school for your child, Mimi Dupuis, our dedicated Director of Exmissions, works exclusively with our families, expertly supporting you through the Kindergarten application process.
Once you apply, I look forward to taking you on a virtual tour of Montclare and share more about our program. If you have any questions or want to learn more about our admissions process, programs, and facility, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Director of Admissions
With the safety of our families and staff at heart, our admissions process will remain virtual until it is safe to invite you into our school. We’ve had a wonderful school year – open for in-person learning since September – and we are committed to remaining open, safely, for our students.
To apply to Montclare click HERE to create an account with Ravenna Solutions, our online application database. Please note that you will be asked to pick N (2s), PS (3s) or PK (4s) as the grade to which you are applying.
We currently have limited availability in some of our classes for the 2021-2022 school year. If you would like to learn more about our program and receive an application for your child, please contact email@example.com
If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to reach out to our office or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Virtual tour registration for prospective parents for the 2022-2023 school year will begin on Thursday, September 9th following your application submission.
After you apply online, you will be prompted to sign up for a virtual tour of our facility during which we will talk more in-depth about your program choices and answer any specific questions you might have.
If you have any further questions, please contact email@example.com.
Virtual Play Session
Due to the circumstances around COVID-19, we are unable to invite you and your child into our building at the time.
After you have submitted your application and scheduled your virtual tour, our Admissions team will reach out with directions for our Virtual Play Session, a 2-3-minute-long video recording of your child engaging in some of their favorite activities.
Some examples might be:
- Playing with favorite toys
- Engaging verbally or non-verbally with a family member or other
- Reading/enjoying a favorite story with a grown-up
- Engaged in a favorite activity
We are looking to get a sense of who your child is in play! No fancy production values needed. You are welcome to create a montage of several videos, or one single video is fine!
Applicants to our 3s and 4s program currently enrolled in another school should submit an ISAAGNY form, completed by your child’s current teacher. Please have your child’s school email the report to Mimi Dupuis at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Montclare Children’s School follows the ISAAGNY notification schedule.
Montclare Children’s School has a very strong sibling policy. Sibling families can choose to receive Early Notification.
